How Grading Lists Can Save Your Sanity

(*probably a bit of an exaggeration but you get it)

For every test I give, I lose track of who took it, who still needs to finish it, who took the graded test home to be signed, and who returned it. Not to mention the plethora of other papers that students need to return to me, or lists I need to keep track of!

😵‍💫

Now I print up a bunch of these double-sided lists and attach one to each pile. GAME CHANGER!

I keep several ready to go and use them for everything, not just tests. At the beginning of the school year, I ignored the “Grade” header and wrote my students’ bus numbers and lunch numbers next to each name. I use them for permission slips, exit tickets, passwords, and book club flyers. The possibilities are endless (which is unfortunate because it just means teachers are overwhelmed by paperwork)!
